Delville Wood Memorial Shoot
This is our yearly event to commemorate the battle of delville wood and to honour the soldiers that fell there. This event is the highlight of our yearly calendar. It is always filled with interesting shooting stages and challenges that are memorable. Adsup is planning it this year and has a few very unique stages that I think would be a very good challenge and a lot of FUN, so you don't want to miss it this year. Do not miss this one! It will be on a farm North East of the Roodeplaat Dam, which is north of Pretoria. The exact pin drop will be shared closer to the date. 29 July: 07h00 - 07h30 - opening and stage briefing. 07h30 - start 3.2km hike 08h45 - shoot starts Minimum gear requirements: L1 gear to be carried at all times during shoot. Minimum rounds 30 x handgun and 30 x rifle, L1 round will be enough for the shoot. Boltaction rifles will work, just keep in mind they need to pack according to L1 packing list, also there will be transitioning between hand gun and rifle during each stage. It is also optional to come camp with us. To camp you can arrive on 28 July from 15h00 and depart 30 July after breakfast for those that wants to. Its going to be very cold as its right next to the revine, I would not make level 2 gear part of the requirements as it might be a bit light. So you can bring a tent and bedding to keep warm.
